Description: The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.

“tourist trap.”

This is an overpriced tourist trap on the plaza with weak drinks, mediocre food, and terrible service. An hour for some hamburgers... really? So many other great places within blocks in Taos. Skip this one..

“Poor Service!!!”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

The chile soup and the marghs are good. The waitstaff was so rude that I almost turned on my heels to leave, where it not for my parents who wanted to enjoy the outside terrace!

“Good service, good food”
Reviewed December 25, 2013

Food was good (stew was a bit spicy for us, but the rest of the meal was great), and the server did a good job. We would go there again.

“Excellent drink selection”

Wide range of drinks and tequilas. Tequilas and sangria were good. Nice friendly bar/grill along the square.

“What's not to like?”
Reviewed December 14, 2013

We ate a late lunch here a week ago on our way from Manitou Springs, CO, to Santa Fe. Had been to Doc Martin's before and decided to try someplace else. It wasn't crowded, so we were seated quickly. Ordered special roast beef sandwiches on sourdough and they were enormous -- ate them with our knives and forks. Loved the apple cider slaw with a mustard-seed dressing. Some young people came in and sat at the bar, then a fellow with a big Akita-type dog. Another couple seemed to be managers who knew everyone. I asked about the slaw dressing and was told it had Creole mustard and apple cider vinegar. (I've already tried to duplicate it at home. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Everyone in the place seemed to be having a good time.
