Description: The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.

“Fun for a Taos Sports Spot”

Good burger, excellent fries. Green chili stew was spiced perfectly. The Long Island Iced Tea was one of the best three I've ever had. Location good but interior just so so.

“Very average average average..”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2013

Had one lunch there, was very poor average.
We sat outside, the food was obviously from the can or from the bag, salad was poor and looked 'sad', a few pieces of green covered by too much cheese.
We went to the first place around when arriving, but would not go again.
Not too recommend, or only if you are hungry hungry and there is nothing else around..

“Great Lunch--Pleasant Surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Given it is right on the plaza, and all the young waiters running around in tees decorated with cute sayings, we expected a decent bar, and very commercial lunch. But we were very pleasantly surprised with a couple of first rate hot deli sandwiches. I had a great Reuben and my wife had a sourdough grilled cheese with Hatch green chilies that I had to take back to the hotel room and finish later.

We'll be back next time in Taos!

“Expected more...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013

This is probably the best location for a restaurant on the plaza. The building is interesting and has a fantastic outdoor area overlooking the plaza. The food and service is average. Food prices are about what you would expect. Drinks are small and prices are high. I don't mind paying more just make it a good sized drink. Our server was pleasant and always checking on us but she couldn't give an opinion on any food question.

I guess I was a little disappointed that they aren't taking advantage of the great building and location. Think generic chain restaurant in a great location.
