“Good fusion food”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Solidly good fusion food, nothing out of this world. The trout was quite quite good... the quail, not so much. The old adobe church ambiance is cool with the candles in the windows. If you're a budding artist, be sure to visit the bathroom and read the article on the wall next to the throne. Susan York has some magnificently wise words. My deepest thanks to whomever was inspired to share this article.

“Amazing!”

We tried several restaurants in Taos, many good ones, but this was by far the best. Food, service, ambiance were all top notch. Really special place.

“Visited On An Off Night?”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

We know many people from Taos and everyone had told us how much they love this restaurant. We made the decision to celebrate our anniversary here. We made reservations a month in advance and arrived that evening to be escorted through "dry storage" and the kitchen. Apparently the front door was out of service. The parking lot was not only muddy but had deep ruts with puddles of water approximately 6" to 12" deep from the winter snows and weather. Addition of hay to the area would have been a big help. I should be commenting about food, but the other stuff was so distracting. Okay, the food was excellent. It was a limited selection but I understand that the menu selections are always changing. The flavors were very good and the owner offered us a wine (not on the menu) which turned out to be an outstanding pairing with the food. We will return in summer to see if we can come in the front door and not walk through a foot of mud.

“Incredible dining-”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

Soooo good. I came at the suggestion of the inn I was staying at and didn't know what to expect. Man, it was out of this world! All organic and fresh. The staff was outstanding , as well. Can't wait to return on my next trip to Taos, for sure!! Try the bison burger with kale. Fantastic!

“Great food, good experience”
Reviewed February 6, 2013 via mobile

The atmosphere is warm and very welcoming. The food was really wonderful. Great quality, creative and reasonably priced. The service wasn't in the same league, unfortunately. Selecting the wine and having it brought to our table was somewhat painful and very awkwardly handled. We got what we wanted but it was a process. However, the server was a sweet kid and I suspect he learned from the experience. Bottom line.....we are definitely coming back. Without hesitation.
