A nice place to walk or rest, relatively quiet in the middle of town. The historic graveyard there is also very interesting.

You can enter this park free of charge. It is in need of a little TLC but still worth the visit. We wanted to see Kit Carson's grave and it is easy to find. Look for the American flag and you will see his & his last wife's resting place.

Good location, just a few blocks from the Plaza, and walking distance to our rental condo. I judged myself a bit long in the tooth for a music festival, but my friend, teenaged daughter, and myself all enjoyed it. The park has nice trees around the edge, where you can find shade, the acoustics for the music were the best I've heard, and best of all: the talent. Michael Franti, Mat Kearney, and Lyle Lovett all put on good shows. As mentioned in other reviews, staff and food were great; despite lines, nice offering in addition to traditional funnel cakes and tacos: crepes, curry, watermelon juice and Taos Cow ice cream. The park segregates alcohol in a beer garden which keeps any obnoxious over indulgers out of the crowd.(Not that we saw any)
