Superb restaurant with outstanding food and service. The menu is limited so each dish gets the attention and care it needs to come to the table perfect. The waitstaff knows each dish, which ones go together (or don't) and what's likely to suit the diner based on the diner's food preferences and appetite. You can also expect your waiter to know what wines on their reasonably extensive list pair well with any of the dishes you've ordered. The gazpacho we had was the best we'd ever tasted and our main courses (bison tamale, home-made pasta noodles with wild mushrooms) were similarly fantastic. The restaurant is on the main road between Taos and Arroyo Seco and it's certainly worth traveling from either place for a fine meal in a cozy and energetic setting.
