We went to Taos for skiing during spring break. Unlike some reviewers who liked some locations closer to town, actually, I like the location of this hotel better. It is close to Walmart, a ski rental shop, and several cheap and nice Maxican restaurants. The room I stayed was spacious and with many windows. It had a flat TV, good free wi-fi. The free order to make breakfast was a plus and they had plenty of seats to accomodate crowds. I also liked the restaurant inside the hotel which includes free salar bar for every dinner entree. The hotel also had free chips/salsa every afternoon in the lobby which was nice. They have a indoor hot tub, but you have to walk through a long outside hall way to get there, which is a little bit tough in winter. But they do have showers in the hot tub room, so you can at least change your swiming suit before you walk back to your room.
The only complain I have is the bathroom. The water presure of the shower was very low and the toilet flush was pretty weak as well. That is why I have to take one star out from my overall rating.More
