Love love love this little hotel! It’s so Taos-it’s a must when visiting for sure! Rooms were comfy and clean, customer service was on point, they treated my fur baby like he was a human guest (had a snuggley dog bed waiting for him in the room and dog bowls and treats), the bar was hopin’ every night w great music and just cool ppl...great great great energy for sure! And, if you’re a yogi, they offer complimentary classes at Shree Yoga...adorable chic studio and Genevieve is incredibly talented. Thx Taos Inn...we will be back soon! Ps-the skiing was ahhhh-mazzzz-ingggg-duh

Thank you for sharing your experience. Our hotel has only recently become dog-friendly, and our staff have loved making so many new fur friends thus far! Shree Yoga is an amazing part of this community and we are always happy to share it with visitors. We look forward to your next trip! Until then, best wishes and happy travels!

When the skiing is good the reviews will always be good too.

This was our second year to stay. We had one of the older rooms that was actually a small suite with two bathrooms and a sitting room. There was a small fireplace that was good.

We love it that they have good music in the lounge. I am an early riser and I always meet interesting people in the lobby who are drinking coffee.

Room tip: book early

It's always a huge bonus when the weather cooperates for your ski trip. We've had some amazing snow, and are pleased to hear you were able to take advantage of it. Meeting new people, be it in the Adobe Bar with live music or in our lobby over coffee is a unique part of the Taos Inn experience and we are proud to be known as the living room of Taos. If you find yourself in Taos again, we hope you'll come back and see us.

2nd year in a row we stayed at the Taos Inn with our kids for a ski trip. We prefer to stay in town rather than the ski valley simply for food options. Taos Inn is a great choice! We stayed in the courtyard which we love. Our kids are particularly fond of the wood burning fire place (we bring stuff to make s'mores). The hotel is in a great location and we've never encountered an issue. Rooms are a bit dated (they could use new towels and some paint) but we are only there to sleep and the price is certainly right (we had the 4 nights for the price of 3 promotion). We would absolutely stay there again in the future.

Thank you for choosing the Taos Inn for the second year in a row. We appreciate you making us a part of your family's memories and love to hear about your smores! We're thinking of making them available to guests in the future. I will pass your recommendations for updates to ownership. We look forward to having you again. Best wishes and happy travels.

Food fare and service at Doc. Martin's restaurant was simply the best! Unfortunately only coffee for a "breakfast". Could have been at least a roll or something. Balcony room was cozy but comfortable. Evening music below my balcony was a bit loud into the evening, and although the evening patrons seemed to enjoy, being a good judge of music it was respectfully not the best. Excellent front desk service. Convenient parking area. Great location in town, great historical documents on the hallway walls to read and appreciate.

Room tip: Nice windows and view, clean bathroom. Toilet seat a bit too low for a tall person. Minor stuff for a well kept room.

We are happy to hear you were able to dine with us during your trip. Thank you for your kind words, I will pass them on to our chef and wait staff. We are currently rolling out a midweek breakfast program. If you find yourself in Taos again, we'd love to show you one of our quiet courtyard rooms. They are still conveniently close to entertainment but far enough removed for relaxing early evenings in.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn in Presidents’ Day weekend. Reasons I would recommend it include: the value, the location relative to the square, and the coziness of the room, which was clean. Things that could be improved upon include the comfort of the bed and the check-in. The lady who checked us in was not friendly or welcoming at all. She made minimal eye contact, kept answering the phones, and helping the customers on the phones first. It was not a great first impression. Different staff members, however, were more friendly after that. Our favorite aspect of the stay was the fireplace in the room.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Reviews such as yours are very helpful in our efforts to improve. I will definitely meet with our front desk manager about your check-in. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your room and its fireplace. There are few things as cozy as sitting fireside in Taos. We hope to provide you a more enjoyable check-in if you do find yourself in Taos again. Best wishes and happy travels.
