You are in Kit Carsons home which consists of 4 rooms filled with information about Kit Carson, starting with a movie (about 20 minutes long) with Carson's great grandson playing Kit. Doesn't take long to go though the museum but worth going to if you have the time.

Only visited the grounds, which is an easy 10 minute thing to do. Didn't go on the tour only because it was $35 apiece. Unless you're a senior and it was $6. So there were a lot of seniors on that tour we saw.
