Around 3 am, we attempted to get a room up the street at the Holiday Express (don't recommend them - front desk staff is apparently comprised of zombies), and instead drove over to the Best Western. The manager/front desk attendant was friendly and courteous, and gave us a terrific rate. The room was clean and smelled great with fresh sheets, soft fluffy towels, and an immaculate bathroom. We even got extra pillows that late at night - with a smile. I have stayed in far more expensive places and received far less for my money - this place is a gem of a value.

This is the Best Motel I have ever stayed at while going cross country. The rooms are large, they are one story, No one above to stomp around all night. Well lighted parking lot, park in front of your room. There are about ten resturaunts in town that are all good, there is a clean Dennys next door. and you always wake up to the Chrisp Fresh Clean New Mexico Morning air....

We used our AAA card at check in and received our discount, we never have had to make reservations. Anyway its our favorite, I just wish we made it our destanation for once, seems like there is a lot to see there, And its quiet countryside..... Hope this helps.

This hotel was not worth the money. We were travelling with pets, so we were told we would be put into a "pet friendly" room. The next morning I noticed, on the so called white tile floor was dirty with small paw prints on it, and my cats are indoor cats, they were not dirty when we checked into this hotel, after we left we had to bathe them. The bathroom floor was also very sticky. The carpet felt sticky/spongey. We checked out and went to the Comfort Inn down the street. They were charging the same room rate, had a better breakfast, the rooms were very clean, and also had an indoor pool and spa.

Had car trouble in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Checked in at Best Western-Santa Rosa Inn at about 3:00 AM. Checked in as Best Western Diamond Gold Club Member, requested late checkout due to the late checkin time. Manager wouldn't allow for late checkout. Told me I could pay for another night.....I'm sure! I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone. Accomodations should have been below Best-Western Standards. Have stayed in Best-Western for 3 years, if their standards have become this low they have plenty of competition.
