Santa Rosa is a good location for tired drivers making the traverse across the SW on I-40. So, all we wanted was a clean and comfortable bed, a safe place to stay, and a good hot shower.
We found all of that here, but were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful desk agent in the middle of the night. Also, the towels are fluffy and bright white. They have clean and nice TV remotes and Directv for tons of channels. Fridge and microwave in room. Free wifi. The bed was comfortable and whole hotel seemed newer and very clean.
Due to changing clocks snafu with Daylight Savings shift the night we stayed, we unfortunately missed breakfast. But, they do offer a hot breakfast Buffett. I'd recommend you set your alarm properly to be sure and partake... Other breakfast options in town are not stellar (everything looks closed or should-be-closed-by-authorities) and even the Denny's is filthy. So, this place offering breakfast is a very real benefit to those on the road in the middle of nowhere. Might be worth staying here just for that!
