“Total happiness in the bush!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014

This was definitely the most relaxing part of our entire holiday! The staff at Mosethla take care of you, show you the way around the bush camp and how to use the excellent facilities. The open air shower was great, as was sleeping in the half open cabin. I would recommend this 5 star bush camp to anyone! The oil lamps lighting the paths when we came back from the evening game drive were very romantic! Justice was our excellent field guide and the food was great too. I just loved staying in the bush without leaving too much of a footprint. In love with the place and hope to be back soon!

Thanks so much to Caroline, Kgomotso and all the staff at Mosetlha bush camp. I had an amazing 4 nights with you.
Initially I was apprehensive after imagining myself sipping wine on the balcony of a posh lodge with a plunge pool overlooking the reserve.
I quickly come to realise that the choice made by our friend Lil to stay at your bush camp was spot on.
Caroline & Gregg what fantastic hosts you are we were always made to feel very welcome and more like friends than guests.
The drives were truly amazing we were lucky enough to see the magnificent 7 and not only once but multiple times, I even spotted a leopard - thanks for the champagne breakfast to celebrate.
Sundowners with Kgomotso & our new friends Sue, Stewart & their boys from Alaska were always great fun, the african sunset a have to see.
The absence of running water & electricity not missed at all as the lamps and the donkey boiler added to the fantastic bush experience.
Meals were delicious, very social & a fantastic opportunity to get to know other guests, hoping to recreate bobotie at home!
The entire camp was well cared for & exceptionally clean including the bathrooms & VIP toilet
Memories that I will treasure for a long time to come - I hope to return with my family some day.
Thank you Mosetlha & a big thank you Lil for choosing the bush camp over a posh lodge.

What an experience Mosetlha was. Caroline our hostess could not have made us feel more at home even if she tried. Kgomotso our guide was amazing. She went out of her way to show us as much as possible during our (far too short) stay. My husband said it was the best birthday present I had ever given him. One would not easily find a more relaxing and undisturbed environment anywhere and we were truly impressed with the absolute respect which has been shown to the surrounds and the nature which Madikwe offers. Thank you to each and every member of the Mosethla staff - Your dedication to the preservation of our natural habitat, which is dwindling so fast in our country, is inspiring. I shall be singing your praises for a long time to come. And then, we will return, just so we never forget how wonderful it is.

This is way to experience the bush! Before arrival, Jules, helped us alot. We stayed at the lodge for three nights. I have ever never sleped so well. Nice comfortable rooms. Nice and clean bathrooms. Taking a shower was an amazing experience. Kogmatsu (ranger) are really good, she are very keen on spotting the animals. Gregg and his staff were very friendly and gave all guests full attention. We had wonderful four days at the lodge. A memory for life!

I think that after our stay at Mosethla, it will be very difficult to experience the Bush any other way! At Mosethla you are "one" with the Bush in a comfortable manner! It was just an absolute amazing experience! The large table for our meals is such a brilliant idea and made the stay just that more special. Justice, our Ranger, was really imformative and is undoubtfully passionate about his job. We really have some unforgetful memories from our game drives!!!!
I highly recommend Mosethla.

I stayed in Mosethla Bush Camp for 2 nights end of February 2014.
It is a wonderful place right in the middle of Madikwe Game Reserve. Before we arrived, Jules, the office manager, answerd all questions we had about the camp via e-Mail and made sure, that we find the right way to the Admisitration Office of the Reserve, where we left the car and were picked up by the ranger. The stuff at the camp was incredibly friendly. Gregg, the camp manager welcomed us at the camp every time we arrived from the game drive and joined the guest at every meal at a big table, where all guests eat together. The food was delicious, fresh and very healthy. Also the rangers were nice and obliging. During the game drives, they communicate with a radio funk system with other rangers to find out where certain animals are at the moment and to make sure that no one scares them away.. Usually you can see lots and lots of animals during the 4-hours-drives in the morning and in the evening.
There is no electricity or running whater at the camp, but the alternatives (solar and oil lamps, a "donkey-boiler" for hot water and a bucket with a shower head) are very comfortable.
I live in Austria and was in many hotels/guesthouses/camps all around the world, but I've never been to a place with such friendly and obliging hosts before!

We had an excellent stay in Mosetlha Bush camp! Thanks to the absolute great gamedrives/ our very dedicated ranger, Justice, plus the campsite itself. The camp was wonderful. I was a little afraid of sleeping in an open hut/tent, but it was no problem at all. In fact we slept much better than in the air-conditioned hotels before and after our stay in de bush camp,
Hosts Caroline and Graig made us feel very welcome and at home and the food was very tasty. After Mosetlha we stayed in a five star lodge in Pilanesberg, which was very nice, but these lodges are more ore less out of place in such natural environments. Staying in the bush camp felt much better and more real! (and the games drives were also much better!!) hazim& femmy
