After a slightly nervous transfer with Fed Air over from Jo'burg (3 stops and one change of plane), we found Ngala to be everything we expected and more.
Game was abundant (all big 5 in one memorable day), ranger and tracker both outstanding, food and service excellent and rooms were comfortable and well maintained (although our aircon had a mind of its own).
From start to finish, nothing was too much trouble for the staff - they even did laundry at no extra charge. It was even a pleasure to be woken up at 5am to go on game drives.
Although not cheap, the service you receive whilst there (staff outnumber guests by 2 to 1 at the very least) makes this feel like great value for money. Go in springtime, avoid the heat and the rain, see more animals.
