My wife and I have just spent 3 nights at Honeyguide Mantobeni and couldnt be happier with our choice of camp and accommodation. The experience started as we drove through the camp gate and saw 2 giraffe just inside the gate. We were met at Khoka Moya where we transfered to a 4 wheel drive for our transfer to Mantobeni. On the way we stopped to see some cheetahs which had been spotted. On arrival at Mantobeni we were offered a late afternoon game drive though as we had spent 10 hours in a car driving there from the Botswana border we declined. Instead we asked and was given a beautiful bottle of red wine which we enjoyed in our tent while watching and listening the sound of the bush.
Over the next couple of days we enjoyed morning and afternoon game drives along with great meals and sundowners. Walter, our tracker, and Dries our ranger couldnt have been better. Their passion for the bush and game is unsurpassed.
The standard of accommodation is superb and the food and service was just wonderful.
To Brett, Lyton and the team at Honeyguide Tented Camp we say a big thank you and we will be definitely be going back so we can share this experience with our friends from the UK who missed out due to the Volcano and the subsequent cancellation of flights to/from London.More
