One weekend afternoon we two senior adult couples visited Sacred Grounds while vacationing in Ruidoso. We had a delightful experience. While it is listed as a coffee house, it is so much more. First of all the place is large, with 4 separate seating areas; one is quiet with small tables; one is in a bar area; one is a large room with a huge screen tv (a college basketball game was being televised at our visit although no one semmed to be watching it); and an ouside dining area that looks down upon the small river below. We ordered beverages: a local brewed beer, iced tea, a coffee latte, and a mixed drink suggested by our server. We also ordered hummus and pita to munch on. The beverages were all excellent. While the hummus was average the pits was excellent. The place had a great vibe and was full of cheery people. It was a fun place that I look forward to visiting again.
