Great service with a smile, more than makes up for what I would say is average Tex-Mex food that's a little overpriced for what you get. It's not quite athentic New Mexico cuisine if that's what you are after. It seems to be the place where the 'well-to-do' people from the Southern states go. Casual attire, nothing fancy. The front dining area has this terrible echo so you can hear all other conversations from neighboring tables. It might be best to sit in the back 'patio' room for a more intimate feel.
Skip the margaritas- they charge too much for them and don't give you the Grand Marnier as advertised on the menu. If you order the margaritas, just get the house marg and call it good. Maybe if was an off bartender that night.
We enjoyed their stuffed jalepenos wrapped in bacon- they sure are hot! Chips and guac were fresh. Decent portion sizes for entrees but honestly the dinner was just so-so. I had green chile enchiladas and while the sauce was good, the meat was not that flavorful. It was ok.
But the service here is really good so don't let that stop you from giving it a try. Maybe I ordered the wrong item, though it was highlighted as a favorite on the menu.
