We stayed here as a family for 3 nights and the experience was one that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. The Lodge was magnificent with huge rooms containing every conceivable amenity. The beds were enormous and very comfortable and the meals - shared with all residents - were varied and excellent. The game drives were the best we have ever had in Africa - seeing the 'big 5' almost every time. On one occasion we saw 3 leopards in a tree with a hyena below and a lion suddenly climbing the same tree! The lodge is unfenced and one of the delights is seeing all manner of game strolling across the extensive lawns at all hours of the day. We would recommend Inyati without reservation.

If you want a fabulous bush experience in a lovely setting, then Inyati is it! Five stars for the staff, the game experience, the knowledge of the rangers and guides. Khimbini and Richard were a fabulous team who, on our three day visit, showed us lions mating, leopards feeding their young on an impala kill, cheetah, herd of cape buffalo, impalas, warthogs, giraffes, zebras, elephants and more. Our guides were so accommodating helping us to get good views for photography and always willing to answer our many questions. We were impressed with their kindness and knowledge.

The lodge is situated on a beautiful grassy bluff overlooking the watering hole for loads of animals who make a regular appearance on the grounds. One afternoon I ventured near the pool and photographed elephants on the a few yards away!

The room (executive) was spacious and full of nice amenities. Though not a five star in decor and finishes, a close runner up and a tremendous value. This room allowed us a private ranger and vehicle, which was great for two couples.

The food was plentiful and safe to eat. The breakfasts with home made rolls were superb. The afternoon tea had delicious snacks, hors d'oevres, fresh and beautifully displayed. Dinner was the least interesting but filling which were served on the grounds or by a campfire in the Boma.

We found many take home items at fair prices in the small gift shop on the property....many of which were made by village dwellers nearby.

Fellow travelers were mainly from Europe and easy to engage in conversation. A fabulous experience we will never forget! The OKoons, Louisville, Kentucky

My reviews tend to be on the lengthy side, however, (for once) I am at a loss for words. Inyati so delivered the safari experience we (my wife, friend and me) sought that our trip still dominates group conversations more than three months later. The staff was overly-friendly and the shareholders (who arrived for meetings during our stay) were gracious, down-to-earth and engaging. We came to South Africa for the World Cup, which was fantastic, but all the games' festivities could not complete with our trip to Sabi Sands and the hospitality of Inyati. It's a magical place.

From the moment we drove into the reserve we saw elephants right there, setting the stage for an amazing 2 nights, 3 days. If you want to see animals, this is the place to go. The lodge is basic, which is part of its charm. Sit on the veranda of the main building and just watch all of the wildlife. We saw monkeys, warthogs, a hippo and elephants even before we got in the vehicle to go out on our drive. The beginning of August was an ideal time to go - it was cold enough that we didn't have to worry about taking our malaria pills and the lack of vegetation meant animal viewing was perfect. The first night out we spotted a leopard, rhinos, giraffe and several other animals. First day we say all of the big five. The wine and snacks set out at the end of the drive in beautiful locations was a really nice touch. Stars were amazing and the small group of 6 was perfect. No one had a bad view! George and Solly were amazing as ranger and tracker. I was in awe over how they knew what animals were there, what they were chasing, the direction they went.... The big thrill was driving to where ever the animals were - didn't matter whether it was on a road or not! Our last drive we watched a lion pride take down an impala - what an experience!

Dinners were good and the company was great. A nice surprise was in our bed at night to warm our toes (not an animal - hot water bottles!) . I would definitely recommend this place - great for even a short get away.

My teenage son and I stayed here during the World Cup. It was so very very good.
We arrived at night and had to stop to let an elephant cross the road pretty soon once we were in the Park. And from there, on the guided safaris it just got better - we saw so many animals up very close.
The accommodation was perfect.
The guides and trackers were knowledgeable and really fiendly and happy.
It was a highlight of our South African trip. I would love to go back.
