If you want a fabulous bush experience in a lovely setting, then Inyati is it! Five stars for the staff, the game experience, the knowledge of the rangers and guides. Khimbini and Richard were a fabulous team who, on our three day visit, showed us lions mating, leopards feeding their young on an impala kill, cheetah, herd of cape buffalo, impalas, warthogs, giraffes, zebras, elephants and more. Our guides were so accommodating helping us to get good views for photography and always willing to answer our many questions. We were impressed with their kindness and knowledge.
The lodge is situated on a beautiful grassy bluff overlooking the watering hole for loads of animals who make a regular appearance on the grounds. One afternoon I ventured near the pool and photographed elephants on the a few yards away!
The room (executive) was spacious and full of nice amenities. Though not a five star in decor and finishes, a close runner up and a tremendous value. This room allowed us a private ranger and vehicle, which was great for two couples.
The food was plentiful and safe to eat. The breakfasts with home made rolls were superb. The afternoon tea had delicious snacks, hors d'oevres, fresh and beautifully displayed. Dinner was the least interesting but filling which were served on the grounds or by a campfire in the Boma.
We found many take home items at fair prices in the small gift shop on the property....many of which were made by village dwellers nearby.
Fellow travelers were mainly from Europe and easy to engage in conversation. A fabulous experience we will never forget! The OKoons, Louisville, Kentucky
