Great experience of 5star attention to detail
Food, game accomodation and especially the professionalism of the staff made this an unforgettable experience

This is travelling in "1st Class" by comparison with other lodges

Highly recommended

Room Tip: All good , especially heated bathroom floors in winter

We have just returned from the most pampered breakaway at Dulini Lodge. Upon our arrival (Thursday) we were met by Iain and his lovely wife with welcoming drinks, met the guide, Dynamos and the tracker, Isaac and the butler, Bongani.
Our suite was well prepared with attention given to the smallest of detail. Very private & spacious room with lounge area, deck overlooking riverbed, splashpool where the elephants drank water, bathroom very clean and neat with a fantastic view, inside & outside shower as well as a well stocked mini bar.
When we returned from supper, a hot tub awaited us, beds turned down and electric blankets switched on, with a note from the butler, Bongani to wish us a good night sleep.
The food was amazing at breakfast, lunch and supper and we also had a surprise dinner in the bush with lanterns, big fires, a bar and even blankets under the African sky.
Our game drives were the highlight, Dynamos and Isaac made sure we get up close and personal, even with the leopard and her kill for amazing pictures. They were eager to please and even found a lioness with her 5 suckling cubs in the Ulusaba area, which was awesome!
This remarkable service continued and on Saturday I was truly spoilt rotten, they even baked me a small little cake with my name on it. I felt uber special! We enjoyed the finest French Champagne, I enjoyed their wine cellar and selection of wines. Nick and Jessie went out of their way to pamper us with good service and food and every request was executed every time, right on time. I enjoyed the lazy lunches on the pool deck and lawn, with the nyaIas grazing around us. It was one of those once in a lifetime experiences, this is my favourite lodge in Sabi Sands & we plan to visit again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room number 6, right at the end, very private, but still close to the restaurant area.

We stayed at Dulini Lodge for 5 nights and had an unforgetable vacation!! The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well cared for. The variety of food (and locations) served at this property were such a pleasant surprise. The track and guide we used for the safaris were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They added a special touch to our safari. The property is very small but we enjoyed the intimate feel! We cannot say enough good things about the staff and property. We highly recommend it here. It was truely a trip of a lifetime due to the staff and special touches at this property.

The Dulini Lodge offers wonderful accommodations, delicious food, very fine game viewing and, above all, unbelievable service.

The manager, Iain, is a perfect host. He can converse on any topic to make guests feel welcome, setting the tone of the lodge, which is friendly, attentive and entirely dedicated to every need.

All of the employees are charming. Our term, "service with a memory" refers to how your every request, preference and whim is remembered. Order mint tea once and it will be delivered every time you are offered tea, unless or until you change your mind.

The new owners are upgrading the facilities, including the addition of a fitness room. When I could not run on a treadmill, I was offered open runs closely followed by a Land Rover. I felt completely safe running in the open fields with game around. I will always credit Dulini for the rush of excitement you feel when giraffes lope off the road out of the way of a strange, two-legged runner.

The game viewing is very good. Private game reserves have benefits and constraints. You can drive off road to track game (which is vital unless leopards choose to lay within sight of the path most travelled); be out after dark, which is not allowed in national parks; and know you will only share a viewing with one other vehicle. On the downside, to share experiences, time at a sighting is limited. If you enjoy watching animals for a long time, the only option is to endure the crowding of national parks.

Dulini taught us the need for tracking. Animals here are tracked by experts. Our tracker and ranger were charming and skilled. We enjoyed their humour, knowledge and hospitality. If serious game viewing is your top priority, hope for Martin to be your tracker. He was the first on too many sightings for it to be good luck. We envied the guests with him.

During our stay we also enjoyed a bush dinner. After a game drive we were surprised when we drove into a river bad when a banquet dinner was set and surrounded by glass and paper lanterns. Traditional musicians played and sang. As always, the food was superb. It was one of the best nights we have had in lodges of Africa and we have been to more than a dozen lodges in six countries. It was typical of Dulini's attention to experience.

Dulini will remember you and you will not forget Dulini.

Room Tip: All of the rooms, which are individual lodges, are excellent and close to the main lodge. There are...

My wife and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary at Dulini this week, and we had a wonderful stay. Game sightings were beyond expression. Our guide (Fred) got us within 10 to 40 yards of most animals. Food, lodging, and hospitality were amazing. Thanks to Samantha and Werner for stepping in an hosting while we were there!

Just got back from Dulini and had an incredible experience. The wildlife was spectacular and the people at Dulini were fantastic. Can't say enough about Ian and his wife Sue who treated our family as we were one of theirs. Our guide Fred and tracker Martin made us feel like we were special and stayed out longer than usual if we were tracking something. Martin found wildlife that was very hard for other camps to find. Would recommend this camp to all
