We spent the last 3 days in South Africa at Elephant Plains Lodge at Sabi Sands. This intimate camp with 24 beds has a style of accommodation for most every taste. We chose the rondavels (#4) which were spacious and an amazing view of the Sabi Sands savannah out our front door. The staff were all very welcoming and attended to our every need at the resort. The lunch meal was a distinct highlight with amazing epicurean delights by Roxanne, the resident chef. Our safari ranger was Stephen. The Sabi Sands safari is now open to Krueger with animals moving freely between the two. We saw packs of wild dogs, a highlight as they are relatively rare in the area. Viewings were spectacular as were the African night skies and the Sun Downer happy hours out on the safari. Spa treatments and the wine cellear also received major kudos. I would highly recommend Elephant Plains.More
