we had never been to Africa but got talked into going by friend who are more adventuresome than us. we had an incredible time. a little hard to describe the experience but for americans it like Donald Trumps meets Africa. the facilities were great, staff exceptional the Guides and trackers out standing. On our plane ride back to the US we met a couple born and raised in South Africa but now live in the states. they were coming back form the 3 visit to Londolozi. In terms of seeing Animals and being close it hard to imagine you could do better than we did.
we stayed in Varty camp which we loved. unless your and isolationist skip Granite camp.
we had one point of stupidity on our part your should avoid. we got catch in a first class African rain storm. we used the "water proof" pockets of the Land Rovers to protect our camera without success . we lost 3 out of 4 camera we had (but one started working a week later). I now understand that people carry water proof camera bags to pop their equipment in.
I cant image anyone going to Londolozi and not loving it.More
