“Do you Believe?”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

Your enjoyment of this museum probably depends on your belief level of the overall phenomena. North of Roswell is the site of a supposed UFO crash in 1947 from whicgh artefacts (wreckage) was recovered and shipped out to other locations by the Air Force. The museum seems to try to present the story without coming down on either side. They try to present the story so that you yourself can make your own decision. Nice displays (possibly a little hokey in some instances.)

“Not bad. Boring for kids.”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

It's cheap. Kids under 5 are free, military and seniors $3, adults $5. Lots and lots of reading. Newspaper clippings and such. I would've found it really interesting but I couldn't read much of it because my kids (ages 4, 6 and 1) didn't exactly want to stand around while mommy and daddy read. We were in and out in less than an hour. Nice gift shop.

“If you are coming from a long way, don't miss it.”
Reviewed June 30, 2014 via mobile

I grew up here so the story is old news, but I still take friends who come to the region to visit. It is interesting but now they charge more than I think it is worth. Tip: they close at 5 but close the drawer at 4:30, so slip in after 4:30 for a free-ride (especially if you are taking kids with a short attn span) ask the lady at the desk if she will engage the "spaceship action" and see the kids giggle for joy then head to the gift shop to blow the cash you saved...everybody wins.

“Roswell experience.”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

I had visited very briefly a few years ago. Went back this time with friends and stayed for an hour. Not a huge museum but doesn't cost a fortune and is a bit of fun to visit. Downtown with parking outside the door. It's worth the visit and the pics. Nice gift shop for those inclined to buy some memorabilia.

“Worth the trip”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

We had planned to stop just to say we had been there, but I will say it had a lot of interesting facts and information. The cost was $3 for seniors. We took some fun pictures to send back to friends, and all have enjoyed them. I would rate it a little above average as they have collected a lot of good information and if you are interested at all in the alien phenomenon it is a must see.
They have a good gift shop, not too expensive, lots for children.
