“Lots of reading of articles!”

They have lots of information from old newspaper articles which are quite interesting.  The other items - not so much.

“If you never get to Roswell you will have missed nothing”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2012

The Museum is a collection of newspaper clippings, old photographs and rather silly models supposedly representing real alien artifacts. I doubt there is anything new than the 90's in it. One of my favorite exhibits featured something alien made of Bakelite - a type of plastic that hasn't been used since maybe the 60's.

The one good thing is that it only costs $5 to get in.

The town itself is in bad shape. The shops near the museum are run down and all have the same simple souvenirs.

This is one place that can comfortably be missed even if you are fascinated by aliens.

“Poor excuse for a museum regardless of your beliefs”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2012

This is a poor excuse for a museum regardless of if you believe in UFOs or not. The city of Roswell has built up its tourist economy based on the UFOs phenomenon. There are many new hotel rooms & restaurants in the growing city in the middle of nowhere. There are plans to build a new museum but this one is terrible. I thought visiting would be an offbeat touristy thing to do & planned to buy some crazy kind of souvenirs’. I was disappointed. There are a lot of other things to do in this section of New Mexico so don't waste your time at the UFO museum

“If you aren't already a believer, this will not convince you.”

I thought the museum would have more to offer. It is basically a museum of newspaper clippings and rumors.

“Not worth the price of admission, unless you're a real UFO fan”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2012

The Museum is in dire need of a makeover. Exhibits are plain and stark, pinned to walls and lacking in color, except for a few more recent space-themed photos. Admission is $5 per person. Allow 30 minutes to 1 hour. Roswell Cultural and Art Museum is a much better choice, and it's free.
