This property was really run down and had few amenities, but it was really close to the ski lift and had a hot tub. I'll start with the pros. The ski lift was right next door, so you could walk across the street to the shops to rent skis and then walk back across to the ski lift- so convenient. We used the hot tub once after a day of really painful cross country skiing and you have to trade your room key for the key to the hot tubs and then you can only stay 30 minutes maximum, which in all reality is plenty of time in the hot tub. Anymore and you might pass out from the heat. The hot tubs were really, really hot and we enjoyed it. Now for the cons. So I had read the reviews and already knew the property was rundown and not kept up, but we went President's Day weekend and so few options were available. This property treats its guests like kids at a spring break party. For instance, only 3 people maximum in a room with 2 queen beds and they have a very strict quiet time policy from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oh, and no refunds if you leave early - even if you cancel in what would otherwise be the normal cancellation period. The beds are old and very uncomfortable, no blowdryer, no kleenexes. Oh, and don't bring your skis in the room, because they could damage the carpet. Our room had a sliding glass door but there was a very bright light on the side of the building shining in all night that the curtains just couldn't keep out. I assume the rooms were clean because of the astringent cleaner smell that permeated the rooms when we arrived. We had to open the sliding door to the cold to air out the room, because the smell gave me the start of a migraine and when I started getting naseous I was worried we weren't going to be able to stay there at all. The wifi only reaches the lobby (they claim due to the mountains/trees) - so any claims of wifi on their website are greatly exaggerated.
