“Front face chairlift”

We took the Front face chair lift to the top and had a snack at the top of the mountain diner and really enjoyed the $16 a person ride and scenery. Highly recommend this activity.

“Best value activity for the summer time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013

We visited during August and were able to partake in the downhill tubing. Three different tube courses are available: One for adults and older children that is accessed by the ski lift. A second shorter course at the bottom of the hill open to ages four and up, and a third for little ones where parents can pull/tow them in a tube.

For my wife and I to get three trips each down the adult slide and for our four year old to have one hour of unlimited rides on the shorter course was $45. We found this was the cheapest "entertainment" in Red River with the exception of fishing and the playgrounds.

We had lots of fun here. Our oldest son had to have ridden over 15 times in his hour and my wife and I both enjoyed our trips up the ski lift (parents: think quiet, alone time!) as well as the speedy trip back down on the tubes.

“Best lessons for first time skiers”

Our boys learned to ski quickly. Almost too quickly for me. I was rather rusty. They loved Jimmy their instructor. He was great with them.

“very relaxing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

You must ride the ski lift to the top. The ride itself is so relaxing. Hiking on top of the mountain is the icing on the cake. Cool, quiet and miles of mountains to view. Frisbee golf and catching glimpses of deer, squirrels and cattle make it a fun family adventure.

“Beautiful views, relaxing ride”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

This was my first trip to Red River. I wanted to ride the chair lift and our group of four thoroughly enjoyed the ride to the top and the views from there. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it smelled good. I would advise jackets and maybe jeans if you are cold natured, the trip down was cool. Great value for a relaxing ride.
