Description: Mountain Treasures has a huge menu of wonderful homemade soups, made-to-order deli sandwiches (like ruebens, chicken-fried steak sandwiches and muffalettas)on fresh, "housemade" baked breads. The delightful smell of Kolaches, cinnamon rolls, turnovers, and cookies flow through the whole place and you may find them hard to turn down! Entrees include fried chicken with fries & Texas toast as well as catfish with hush puppies & fries. Our coffee shop serves steaming cappuccinos, lattes, and fresh house coffee as well as fresh-fruit smoothies. We've proudly served visitors and locals for 12 years on Main Street right in the middle of town across from the Community House.

Stopped into Mountain Treasures on our way out of Red River to head back to Kansas and had some awesome biscuits and gravy and a great smoothie! Owners are wonderful! Good place.

“Great Food, all homemade!”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Great food to choose from breakfast selections, lunch and entrees including wonderful pastries, ALL homemade, including their sandwich breads, soups and pastries. One of the best Reuben sandwiches ever for lunch. One sandwich large enough for 2 people. Great service, also.

The art gallery is one of the best in Red River for sure with pleasant and helpful associates.

I highly recommend Mountain Treasures and am looking forward to our next trip there.

“Truly is a treasure in Red River”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Went to Mountain Treasures for morning coffee (with yummy kolaches and sausage rolls) as well as a delicious lunch of soup, salad and sandwiches. My sister says their daily soup special is always terrific. Locals hang out here in the mornings- there is a place for them to keep their personal coffee cups. Also, the patio area is dog friendly.

“Best Kolaches!”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

My husband and I do not consider our trip to Red River a success without eating at least 2 kolaches from Mountain Treasures! They are simply the best, hands down. Aside from the kolaches, this little cafe has a lot of other great options. The make numerous other pastries that are quite delish, as well as serve sandwiches, soups, and other lunch fare. The coffee and other drinks are great as well. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. There's nothing better than sitting on their patio, drinking your hot coffee, and enjoying a snack from one of the best in Red River!

“coffee and Pastries”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

We tried coffee and pastries here a few times. Those pastries are very light, fluffy and tasty. The coffee was good.
