“4th of July Hike”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Beautiful 4 mile hike, 2 miles in and 2 miles out. The first 2 miles are steep but not treacherous. You'll know you went hiking. And the lake is gorgeous. Went with a 9 year old and he had no trouble keeping up.

“Great ATV Ride”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Goose Lake is worth the effort. Take a tour, rent a jeep or bring you own - but go you will be glad you did.

“Awesome day trip”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Great place to have lunch after 4 wheeling ! Take red Salmon eggs if fishing the lake..
We took 3 UTVs up to the lake in a little over an hour, passing a few jeep tours along the way.
Stop & see the Buffalo mine shaft @ marker 8 You will need a flashlight!! You will get a little wet & dirty too. There are a couple of really nice areas to stop for beer as well. Wide enough for jeeps/trucks but not a novice. Enjoy it!! We did!

“No for the faint-hearted”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

Don't attempt unless you have a skilled driver. We went up 4 miles, removing boulders and tree limbs in order to pass-then couldn't get through a waist deep snow drift. Could see more drifts up the trail, so backed down and turned around (no small feat) We were in a Ford Raptor a little big and wide for the trail, but we thoroughly enjoyed our adventure.

“No for the faint of heart.”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

The trail is not for the faint of heart. It is narrow, and can be slick in the rain and hail, during the summer. It is worth the travel. A beautiful area to visit.
