This place was amazing... Renee and Phillip were wonderful hosts, the location was perfect, the rooms clean, and the BREAKFASTS - oh! the breakfasts! - if you stay here, make sure you do not miss the incredible breakfasts! We stayed over Memorial Day weekend, during the Red River Run, and were able to escape the craziness in town and retreat to this cozy little place. We will be back!

Our 4 day visit was great. Peaceful, quiet, great service. great breakfast (even delivered to you room if desired). we never slept so good as the beds were so good. Our room was clean in every respect. Nice thick towels.
This was our first B&B and exceeded our expectations. Now any other B&B's will be compared to Adobe and Pines B&B.

My wife and I had stayed at Adobe and Pines three years ago on a romantic getaway over Thanksgiving. This Memorial Day weekend we took our two teenage granddaughters for their first B&B experience. Adobe and Pines is a great place for a couple wanting to have time alone or for a family excursion. The girls thought they had hit the jackpot with such a neat place and my wife and I still had a great holiday weekend together. Renee and Phillip are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure our granddaughters had a memorable stay in Taos. I can't find the words to recommend Adobe and Pines high enough.

Others have said it well: Renee and Phillip are amazingly gracious hosts, the Adobe Pines Inn is gorgeous and historic, the suites are extraordinary in their beauty, the breakfasts are incredibly delicious, the outdoor spaces are so welcoming and comfortable with lots of hummingbirds about. There are so many amenities and Renee and Phillip have clearly included everything a guest could possibly want or need. It was not easy to leave this fantastic place!

Room Tip: The Violetta room is particularly gorgeous and has its own roof deck.

My wife and I spent our 44th wedding anniversary with Renee and Phillip and could not have wished for better hosts; better accomodations; or better breakfasts. I highly recommend them. This was our first trip to Taos, and Adobe and Pines was the best part of the trip.

Room Tip: The Azure room.

I took my husband on a surprise trip to Taos to celebrate his birthday, and I chose the Adobe and Pines Inn for our accommodations. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we felt like we were at home. Renee and Philip were incredibly kind and generous hosts. We stayed in the Puerta Turquese casita, which was a separate structure from the main hacienda. The main room included a queen bed, small table and chairs, and a small kitchen area with a stove, sink, and small refrigerator. The kitchen counters were tiled with antique hand-painted tiles, and the floors were done in a mosaic of old broken tiles that was beautiful. There were lovely wood-burning kiva fireplaces in both the main room and the bathroom. The bathroom also featured a whirlpool bathtub and shower combo. There was a small, but walk-in, closet attached to the bathroom. Many of the windows of the casita were hand-painted to resemble stained glass, which lent privacy to the room as well as beauty. Outside of the casita, a lovely courtyard shared by only two other rooms had several intimate sitting areas, a fountain, and was filled with hummingbirds who were visiting the feeders hung everywhere. We also had a private 2-person hot tub in a small area fenced for privacy, which we enjoyed very much under the stars at night. Our breakfast the first morning was oatmeal with a dried fruit compote, fresh and hot homemade mini biscuits with almond strawberry butter, and a Mediterranean fritatta. Breakfast the second morning was fresh cucumber with cracked pepper and rosemary over plain Greek yogurt, Southwestern eggs Benedict with chipotle hollandaise sauce, and lovely fresh cinnamon rolls to finish. Everything was made with fresh eggs from the chickens they keep, and was absolutely delicious. There was a lovely yard on the far side of the property where the chickens live that guests can visit, and you can give Renee and Philip's dogs a scratch behind the ears.

Our only disappointment was that despite stellar wireless internet coverage throughout the inn's grounds, the 2-foot thick walls of our casita were too thick to let a signal through. Cell reception was also weak inside. However, all we had to do was literally step out of the door for full coverage. We enjoyed the many seating areas and outside table to use the internet.

We plan to stay again at the Inn, and next time will bring our 3 children. Renee was kind enough to show us the Blanca, which features two bedrooms and will be perfect for our family.

Taos wasn't all it was cracked up to be, it had a generally run-down appearance. Aside from a few points of interest and a few good restaurants, all it had to offer was shopping. If it wasn't for the Adobe and Pines B&B our trip would have been a total bust.
The Adobe and Pines B&B was absolutely wonderful, our room was delightful and the breakfasts were first rate. The setting and the adobe architecture is charming and inviting. Our room on the second floor had a large deck overlooking the front of the property; we dined there often. The owners were professional, accommodating and interesting. Should we return to Taos, this is where we'll stay.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good for different reasons, check the descriptions on their website.
