Description: Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs' secluded sanctuary. Deemed sacred by Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Creative dishes include Green Chile Crusted Salmon, homemade pasta, and Ribeye. Lighter fare is available in the Wine Bar & Lounge. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments, private outdoor pools and dinner before you arrive. Ojo is the only hot springs in the world with 4 unique, sulphur-free mineral waters. The resort is historic, yet modern and fresh with eclectic charm in a relaxed and tranquil environment. The full-service spa offers a wide array of restorative treatments including nurturing massage and hydrating face and body treatments. Don't miss a soak in a private outdoor pool by fire at night or in the seasonal, detoxifying mud pool. We offer an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations, including enchanting suites, charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging includes access to all mineral pools every day of your visit. Yoga classes are offered 7 days a week. Ojo is nestled in a valley on 1,100 acres and is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking and mountain biking trails.

A bit on the spendy side but excellent food. Eclectic menu items, great vegetarian options, and wonderful setting.

“Not impressed”
Reviewed March 13, 2011

Every year a group of us goes to Ojo for the mineral spas and relaxation and of course, the food. i was so disappointed in my last visit, that i think I will bring my own chef with me on my next visit. The service was fine, but the food was bland, plates poorly arranged, food not the desired temperature. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Ojo..you use to have one of the best restaurants inTaos County!!

“great restaurant at a great destination!”
Reviewed December 4, 2010

SO lucky that the restaurant at the springs is delicious. The menu changes seasonally, is creative and high quality with local ingredients. There's always at least one vegetarian option for dinner and the breakfast is excellent too. I've had the blue corn pancakes with fruit, the sweet cheese enchiladas, the homemade granola/yogurt...all excellent! The service is attentive but not annoying. I generally eat here every time I visit Ojo and although it is a bit pricey, it's worth the splurge now and then. The chocolate cigar for dessert is delicious. The little pizzas at the bar outside of the restaurant are good too. I have found the bar staff to be a bit standoffish but the overall atmosphere at both the restaurant and bar are elegant and comfortable. I wish they didn't close during the middle of the afternoon because there have been times when I would have liked to eat something at the restaurant after soaking but have had to wait. Overall, I would recommend checking it out!

“Tast spa food”
Reviewed January 1, 2010

We had a New Year's Eve dinner menu and found the black bean and corn chowder and lamb shank so be very tasty. I would recommend eating at the restaurant if staying at the inn.

“great food & wine, weird hours”
Reviewed November 16, 2009

great restaurant with a cute wine bar attached. great wine list and excellent "bar food" menu as well. The place is only open until 8:30-9 pm which is odd because the hot springs are open until 10 and it seems natural to grab a glass of wine and snack after soaking but by the time you get out of the pool its closed.
