Stay April 22nd to April 26th. Overall the camp site at Navejo Lake Park was great, we pitched our tent at Rosa campground on a lake view site (No. 127) , we knew the site was a small distance from the car park, however it would have been a nice touch if a cart of some description was available to move our stuff. The sites are very small, if you have anything larger than a 10ft square tent things can get pretty tight for space as the picnic tables have fixed covers and are located in the middle of the site. When we arrived we were greeted by the volunteers, great people, we were informed that the toilet facilities located near by our site we're closed due to freezing, this meant we had a 300yd walk to the nearest rest room. The rest rooms and showers were not cleaned all week, we were luckily as we were the only campers along with 4 RV's. In the male shower/toilets there was only 1 toilet the other disabled toilet was broken and out of use. The website states facilities are open from April 15th so be mindful if you go in the early season. One last disappointment was the "drilling" it would have been nice if we had been told that drilling was underway 24/7 very close by as this made the nights very noisey, understand the need for oil but info would have been good so we weren't surprized. We had a great time, the views are spectacular.
