This restaurant closes at noon and have stopped serving anything but breakfast - but what a breakfast! Meats, egg dishes, potatoes, fruit, juice, coffee and cinnamon pecan rolls you will talk about long after you get home.

They also bake bread and sell by the loaf.

We camped at City Of Rocks State Park and the staff there highly recommended this as a stop on our drive through Mimbres, Gila National Forest, and passed Lake Roberts to Silver City. This place is only open for breakfast and brunch (7AM-12PM), but offers an "all-you-can-eat" breakfast buffet for $6.50 (don't hold me to that price). Wow! Everything is made from scratch; 3 different scrambled eggs, 4 different toasts (bread made in their Living Harvest Bakery), whole wheat (ground on site) pancakes, pork sausage, green chile stew, hash browns, 4 varieties of muffins (again their Bakery) and GIANT cinnamon rolls. If that's not enough, they also offer 6 different coffees (don't miss the chocolate piñon-take a bag with you), tea, fresh juice, cold milk. Of course there's honey, fresh butter, real maple syrup...it's incredible! We also bought a freshly made loaf of banana bread, mixed berry granola, chocolate piñon coffee and a cinnamon roll to stock our inventory. When we went to pay I asked if they accept credit cards-the young woman responded "Only cash, check, or I.O.U.s". Another enjoyable experience here was a visit to the restroom where a sign posted stated: "Employees must wash hands. If no employee is present, feel free to wash your own hands." Gotta love it. Incredible food, comfortable surroundings, unpretentious and totally pleasant staff. Don't know for a fact, but our impression was that this is owned and operated by a Mennonite Community. Can't go wrong here, worth driving out of the way if you have to.

This cafe has good coffee and is open only for breakfast/brunch. They bake fantastic bread from scratch - even have gluten free bread that does not taste like sawdust. I love the peasant bread and spelt bread varieties.

The bakery offers a all you can eat breakfast buffet. All products are made fresh and by the family bakers. The cinnamon rolls wow!!!!! I also buy bread, jams, and other home made products to use and give as gifts to others. The Mimbres is a beautiful valley en route to Cliff Dwellings, Black Range and crossover highway to Deming. The bakery is just the special treat and the staff are wholesome and friendly. It is obvious love and good energy is in everything they make there.

We are so lucky to have this sweet cafe in our Mimbres Valley. The food is fresh and the taste is excellent.
The family is delightful and never to busy to say hello or answer any questions about their products (you can buy their fresh bread, muffins and cookies).
The cafe is closed Sunday and Monday.
Enjoy
