“This place is a hidden treasure”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

This place is relatively new. It is right on the plaza in Old Mesilla. It is a sweet little place. They have a limited menu, but everything on it is excellent. It's kinda hidden so watch for the signs on the sidewalk that lead the way. They are open 7 days a week. Go for it!!!

“Cafe de Mesilla in Old Town, Mesilla, New Mexico”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

While exploring the old plaza in Mesilla, we stopped for lunch at the Cafe de Mesilla. Joyce, the owner, greeted us with a friendly smile as we read the menu posted on the wall.
My wife had the tomato basil soup and half sandwich .... I had the 'Thanksgiving Sandwich' - turkey, cranberries, stuffing on sourdough bread and potato salad.
The soup was excellent ....the best tomato soup my wife ever had. The sandwiches were made by Joyce with fresh ingredients ... and were excellent.
A lively little cafe with excellent choices prepared by a bubbly enthusiastic owner in the historical adobe section of Mesilla.

“Tiny wonderful place”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

We live near the old Plaza and go to Cafe de Mesilla for a latte or for lunch often and are always happy we did. Each sandwich is made to order on good wholegrain toasted bread. The fillings are fresh and tasty and the coffee is wonderful. The owner, Joyce, has a large assortment of Polish Pottery for sale and other local items as well. The pastries are delectable!

“Cute, small little lunch place”
Reviewed July 10, 2012

We had a nice soup/sandwich lunch combination - soup was delicious. I think it's just right for a quick lunch in a cute little restaurant right off the square. The owner was very nice and offered several suggestions for places for evening dining. We took both of her recommendations and were very well pleased.
