It was a slow day at Josefina's and just a little too cool to eat outside. We were told to "sit anywhere" and I must admit we moved twice for various reasons. The special of the day Pastrami Sandwich was fairly decent with tasty sauerkraut and spicy brown mustard although the meat filling was underwhelming and the potato salad tasted like all salads out of a large plastic commercial tub. The Chilaquiles with red pork was delicious (although the fried strips of tortillas were a little tough). The red was very good with little heat, the pork was fork tender, the eggs were light, but the cheese was barely there. Overall this was an enjoyable lunch at a decent price. The menu is fairly limited and tends towards breakfast entrees. I can now say I have eaten at Josephina's however, there are other places in Las Cruces I would rather return to.
