We stayed at Casa de Rosie the first night of a 3-day road trip. I happened across it by accident after learning that my first choice had closed down. That turned out to be a wonderful twist of fate.
Rosie was an awesome hostess starting with the phone call to make reservations through the wonderful breakfast before we left. She did everything possible to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed to be comfortable.
The Casa is charming and full of interesting furniture and art work. The Casita was private, comfortable, and well stocked.
The historic square in Mesilla is within sight and walking distance with a beautiful church, gazebo, old buildings that now house shops and restaurants, etc. The history is fascinating.
Mesilla in general, and Casa de Rosie in particular, were a bright spot in our long trip. I definitely hope to get back there when I can stay longer.
