Casa de Rosie - A Mesilla B and B
Ranked #1 of 2 Mesilla B&B and Inns
Reviewed May 16, 2012

We stayed at Casa de Rosie’s B&B for five nights. We truly only have positive comments. Rosie is a very gracious and accommodating hostess and a wonderful cook as her delightful breakfasts attest (ask for her German pancakes or homemade bread with delicious jams and special scrambled eggs). Her courtyard is tranquil and relaxing. We spent down time there reading, conversing, and watching the birds come in for a cool drink from the large fountain. We stayed in the Master Bedroom which was spacious. The bed was oh so comfortable. The shower “built for two” was a big hit! The linens were sumptuous.
The location was perfect for us. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from NMSU; the immediate area provided many places to shop, drink wine (from the surprisingly good NM wineries), and eat at fine local restaurants, all within very easy walking distance of Casa de Rosie.
In addition to being a delightful place to stay, Casa De Rosie is located wonderfully, being close to the Interstate and a very short walk to the historic Mesilla plaza which is full of attractions, making it a great location for travelers looking for an overnight stay as well as for those spending more time in the area.
In conclusion, if you will be travelling near Las Cruces, stay at Casa de Rosie!

Two couples recently spent one night with Rosie. She is a delightful hostess, and runs an extremely comfortable, immaculate 3 room b&b. The central patio with a fountain invites you to relax with a good book or conversation. Rosie has lived in Las Cruces several years and has a wealth of information about available activities, restaurants, etc. Breakfast included homemeade bread and jam, along with freshly prepared egg dish--delicious! Two blocks from the plaza.

I was traveling on business and would be gone over our Anniversary. I convinced my wife to meet me in Las Cruces and discovered Rosie's. This was probably one of the best weekend getaways we've ever had. Rosie was warm and welcoming showed us around on arrival and then explained the many things to do while in Mesilla. And of course how could I not mention the Breakfast homemade and delicious.

We highly recommend Rosie's and definately plan on a return trip!!!

My husband and I were just looking for a place to stay for the night...but we got so much more! Rosie called ahead to check on our expected arrival time and see if we needed anything ahead of time. Wow! She met us at the door, showed us around, welcomed us and suggested some places for dinner. We were so pleased to find that we only walked 2 blocks to get to the Historic Mesilla Plaza! The room (Master Bedroom) was so spacious with a big bathroom that had a shower and jacuzzi tub...very impressive! In the morning Rosie made us the BEST breakfast and coffee! She's pleasant, friendly, down to earth and very welcoming. We wanna go back already! Great weekend getaway...thanks Rosie!
