“Pretty much a T-shirt and novilties no Diner”

Reviewed May 16, 2013

Its a tourist shop. Has lots of neat old looking signs. A couple of tables for beverages . If your familiar with movie it might mean more to you. Just one of the several friendly little shops in the town.

Although I thought it would still be a diner, it wasn't .. .Luckily enough, I was very impressed. The lady that helped me in the store was very nice. She even pointed out some other good travel tips and places to see. I will probably go back on one of my next trips just to get more gifts ... :-)

This is a cool place. It is the Dinner in the movie Wild Hogs. The building was built for the movie and the lady who owned the lot turned the building into a biker gift shop. You have to see this to understand. Just a fun place to visit. The little town of Madrid is also fun because it has many gift and artist type of stores. It is a good half day trip that is 30 miles out of Santa Fe NM on highway 14. Maggie's has a large assortment of metal signs reasonably priced and lots of t shirts in sizes up to 5 X with great sayings on them. Probably not a great place for kids that can read as some things in the patches she sells are graphic and use four letter words... humerus but not for kids. The owner had great stories and really made us feel welcome. A great fun trip. There is a bar/restaurant in town and the layout of the town it self is a sight to be seen.

We were driving back from an uneventful visit to Santa Fe and my son said " this looks like the town from the movie WILD HOGS" We stoped in front of Maggie's Diner and saw the signs. Next door to Maggie's Diner is a store that sells all types of Native American Jewelry. This is a must stop if looking for jewelry. If they don't have it, no one does. They also own Maggie's Diner. A great stop for our family.
