“Our Stay in Los Lunas”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

On our way to AZ we stayed at this Motel. We were very please with the clean room. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was an expanded continental breakfast. The food was fresh and tasty. The staff was very courteous. The location is very easy to get to from !-25. It was also near a Chili's Restaurant here we went for dinner in the evening.

I've stayed here several times for multiple nights while visiting family in Los Lunas. Very professional staff, and the rooms were clean and reasonably priced. I was grateful not to have to commute to and from Albuquerque every day, and still be able to have very good accommodations. They even followed up with me, and were willing to assist me with a double charge issue that was caused by my credit card company, even though it wasn't anything they did.

Stayed @ this hotel for almost 2mths while in town on business. Excellent service! Basic bfast offered, nothing real special, but it was something to eat. Room was very spacious, clean & accomodating. Will definitely stay again if ever back that way.

We stayed at this hotel July 2012 twice.Staff were very nice and helpful.Lobby was attractive and clean with breakfast area just off the lobby. Breakfast was the usual fare..same as a Country Inn and Suites that we had stayed at in St Louis the night before.
We had a room on the first floor both stays. It was the usual basic room, Carpet was old and shabby but ok.Linens were clean and beds made up after our day out.Only 20 miles from airport
Most impressed with the price per night of $69 per night.with AARP card ! Would stay here again

I had the pleasure of staying here in mid-June of 2012. It was an unlikely choice is some respects as I generally pick a "chain" hotel rather than independent hotels, but on this occasion the usual places were not available or within a convenient distance. My choice was guided by TRIPADVISOR reviews, and as a result had an excellent stay.

The hotel was once a "name brand" hotel but is now independently owned and operated. It is very well maintained and a credit to the owners. My room was well presented and clean. The decor and general fitments are not ultra modern, but they are functional and in excellent order. The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable and the overall room experience was excellent. The staff are very friendly and the location is convenient for highway access, shopping and food. Parking seemed plentiful and the hotel surroundings felt safe. My booking was made online directly with the hotel and there were no issues checking in.

The price paid for the room and quality of stay represented exceptional value. Next time I am in this area I will be sure to stay here again.

Room Tip: The rooms face east or west. Do you like to see a sunrise or sunset? The rooms that face west do hav...

The Western Skies Inn and Suites is a pristine jewel in the high desert country of New Mexico. Located a few minutes drive south of Albuquerque on Interstate 25, in the village of Los Lunas, this lovely little inn affords gorgeous panoramic views of the Rio Grande river valley and surrounding mountains of Valencia county. The facility is large enough to provide professional accommodations and amenities, yet small enough to treat each guest as family being welcomed home. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortably appointed; the gift shop a treasure chest full of unique and useful surprises. Staff members are warm and friendly, greeting each guest with a smile and exemplary service. Every night spent at the Western Skies Inn beckons us to return. We have and we will. . .often!

Los Lunas has limited choices for lodging, but fortunately this family owned motel provides great service along with clean and comfortable rooms. Room rates were very reasonable and my suite was well arranged and decorated. I made a reservation through a third-party service and my initial request for top-floor room did not make it to the hotel staff. If you have special requests, a call to the hotel to confirm may be a good idea. The staff are friendly and hotel is well maintained.
