“We Probably Ordered the Wrong Thing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2014 via mobile

This was our first visit to this restaurant which had been recommended by fellow travelers. It is very clean and immaculate. We both ordered French dip sandwiches which were adequate but nothing more. We were expecting homemade pies for dessert but these were commercially made and not very good.

“The "Dos Amigos" burgers are so delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2014

This is another one of those places that we stopped while coming and going on our way to Santa Fe. We had never been here before, and exited at Lordsburg because it was lunchtime and we were hungry. Drove around until we encountered this restaurant. It was quite crowded on that Sunday (6/1), but we figured that might be because it was a Sunday. On our way home Monday (6/9), it was just as crowded, and why not, when they serve such good food in a most pleasant setting.

And it was delicious. Wanting to get into the "chili" mood (this is New Mexico), we both ordered the "Dos Amigos" burgers. These had a roasted green chili on top of the burger and cheese. Everyone told us to stop in Hatch for anything to do with chili peppers, and we did (stop in Hatch), BUT, we liked these burgers at Kranberry's much more than the ones we had in Hatch. They were somewhat spicy, but very much to our liking. Brought to the table sizzling hot. Very nice service, and very nice atmosphere. Again, NO beer, just water or soft drinks. Must mention that the glass of water is brought with a generous slice of lemon.

We saw some people raving about their desserts, but we just did not have the room. Our burgers were large, but we managed to eat every morsel. SO delicious !

“Kranberrys out of season”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2014

I have been here before and have had decent food. It has always been breakfast. This time we had lunch. I was really disappointed. My wife had a cheese sandwich and could not taste the cheese. She opened the sandwich and you could hardly see the cheese. It was awful. I had a very small cup of soup and a tuna sandwich. The bread was hard. I took it with me and fed it to the dog. The dog gave it 3 stars. We are not confrontational people, so we let it go. The service was passable, but not what I would call friendly. I will think twice before stopping hear again.

“worth it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2014

We stayed the night across the street and decided to skip the hotel's breakfast. Glad we did! The restaurant is clean, pleasant decor. Friendly staff gave great service. My husband had a cheese omelet with potatoes and toast, and I had the waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon ~ hot & great flavor. Definitely recommend.

“Just what we needed while traveling”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2014

This restaurant is great for travelers! We needed a nourishing meal while on the road, and we were not disappointed at all! The service was fast and friendly and we really enjoyed our meal. The decor isn't fancy, but they well make up for it with the service and quality of food.

We ordered soup and sandwiches and it was delivered very quickly. Everything was fresh and we were on our way in no time.
