We spent one night in Las Vegas, NM, on our way to So. Dakota. The hotel was a bit worn, but clean enough for our quick stay. We had a room with three double beds, yet we didn't feel too cramped. The surveillance cameras in the hallways made me wonder if we needed to worry about our safety, but everything appeared okay.
A good pool is important to my teenage children, and they found this one a bit too small. But it was nicely heated and they were allowed to swim a bit after the posted closing time.
If you're looking for a good place to eat, try Blackjack's Grill down the street. It's more like a Santa Fe restaurant than a Las Vegas, NM restaurant. Very good.
