“Glad I didn't read the reviews before staying!”

We rolled into town late at night and had a quick check in. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Our room was clean and had all the standard stuff, mini-fridge, microwave, hairdryer, coffee maker, shampoo, soap, lotion, etc.
Had to laugh at the phone in the bathroom (makes me think it was designed with truckers in mind-- or maybe the elderly)
Anyway, missed breakfast. Even with being so close to the highway there was not a noise issue.
Would stay there again without any hesitation!

Arrived in town late Friday night. Super 8 was full. Went across the street to Days Inn and got the next to last room. Parking lot was full except for 1 space that was reserved for staff. Ended up parking along the curbing. Small vestibule with ice and vending machines. Had to wait for 2 small girls playing with the vending machines before we could enter the lobby. Not enough space in the vestibule to get ice / candy and have someone enter lobby at the same time.

Room is dated. Coffee pot was un-plugged with lid astray. To make room for the fridge and microwave plugs, TV coord was stretch out about 5' to wall plug. No sound insulation between adjoining room doors. Room was for handicap access, and therefore had no bathroom counter space. Room seemed clean.

Agree with the previous review, lobby seemed gloomy. I would expect this from a $39 hotel room, not a $75 room.

Property is sub standard at best. It is not worth the$ 61.00 per night room rate. The staff was unprofessional, rooms in need of repair, torn shower curtain, bad coffee, and a very limited continental breakfast. Not recommended.

This was a great little Hotel. The Lobby was quaint and clean. Fast check in, room was spacious and very clean. They had pool towels at the pool and gave us extra towels when asked. The breakfast bar was limited but acceptable. I would stay here again.

We decided to stay at this Days Inn because we had enough points in their travel club for a free night. Never again! We have previously stayed at the Comfort Inn down the road and had a very nice stay.
First of all, I was upset that I had reserved a 1st floor room and was given a 2nd floor room all the way at the end of the hall with no elevator. The back door is for emergencies only and you can not even come in it with your key.
There are signs EVERYWHERE! At least a dozen NO Pets signs, there is also NO food allowed in the rooms, NO drinks in the pool area, NO shoes in the pool area. NO, NO, NO!
There is also NO coffeepot, ref. or micro. in the room. I must say this is the only motel I have ever been to that didn't even have plastic cups or a pad and pen in the room.
The ice machine is right in front of the desk so they can watch how much you are getting.
We asked for a dinner recommendation and they sent us to a little hole in the wall, called Blackjack's Grill ( which we do not recommend ) . It was not the family friendly atmosphere we were looking for, it was more suitable for upscale couples wanting fancy cuisine. It was very hard to find, there was very little parking, very little seating, very little lighting, and very high prices. They also had signs, NO cell phones. We decided to eat elsewhere.
When passing through Las Vegas again we will definetly stay at the Comfort Inn.

We spent one night in Las Vegas, NM, on our way to So. Dakota. The hotel was a bit worn, but clean enough for our quick stay. We had a room with three double beds, yet we didn't feel too cramped. The surveillance cameras in the hallways made me wonder if we needed to worry about our safety, but everything appeared okay.

A good pool is important to my teenage children, and they found this one a bit too small. But it was nicely heated and they were allowed to swim a bit after the posted closing time.

If you're looking for a good place to eat, try Blackjack's Grill down the street. It's more like a Santa Fe restaurant than a Las Vegas, NM restaurant. Very good.
