This was a mix of good and bad. First the good: The room was good size with a very creative way of mixing the frig and microwave in with the TV. The frig was the best I have seen in any hotel. There was a spacious table for the laptop and other related things. The bed was very comfortable with many pillows. Now the bad: the desk clerk was the rudest that I have encountered in a long time. She was playing with her cell phone and completely ignored me. I asked if she was the one to check me in and she curtly said no check in until 2:00. I was in a bit of a hurry as the power steering on the car that my wife was driving failed on the interstate and we needed to find a mechanic (she was totally unsympathetic). I went out side to tell my wife and came back in only to find a line in front of the counter where she was checking in customers (time 1:35). I had to stand in line to check in and when I got to the counter things did not get any better. The other negatives were a very small sink counter, not enough room for two people to put minimal toiletries, and slamming doors until midnight and started again at 05:00 AM. Most hotels that we stay in have put in silent door closers.

This hotel has the potential to be very good but it needs some management attention.

We have stayed at the Comfort Inn in Las Vegas, New Mexico in the past and generally enjoyed the stay. Staff is generally top-notch however this trip the check-in was interrupted when the desk clerk took personal phone calls on her cell phone.
The rooms are comfortable and clean but it is a very pricey motel.

We've have stayed at many Comfort Inn properties, and this is one is better than average.

Desk clerk was friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was clean and in good shape (except for two burned out lights). Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was above average.

Location is close to the freeway but away from freeway noise.

Complaints (minor):
1) The smokers' rooms are in the hallway near the lobby, and it is a discusting, smelly walk down that hallway to the lobby.
2) There isn't enough seating to accommodate everyone at breakfast.
3) Pool was out of commission for our stay. The desk clerk said, "The pool will re-open in an hour or so." It was still OOC the next morning.

Summary: There are lots of hotel/motel rooms in Las Vegas, NM. This would be a good choice although there are other properties that also appear to be good choices. Next time we're in the area, we'll stay at this Comfort Inn.

A small group of friends and I (9 people) stopped and stayed at this Comfort Inn for two days and nights during an inclement cold & rainy front, that passed through the region. We were travelling on motorcycles, attempting to visit Albuqueque for the Balloon Festival. Our stay was comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was generous.
I also enjoyed using the computer that's available for customers to use in a private area, to check on one's email or just to surf the net.
My only complaint was that they offered no discount for Military Veteran's, as do so many other motels.

Stayed here on on December 27th. Chose it from our AAA guide as we drove up I25. Only problem was that pets are only allowed in smoking rooms. And the smoking rooms are pretty smokey.

Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was out early and was ok. Nothing special about the food. Coffee was good.

This is probably the best hotel in Las Vegas. Had there been another 3 star hotel that took pets in non smoking rooms with easy access to the Interstate we would have chosen it.

Situated on the northern end of Las Vegas, this Comfort Inn offers clean, restful accommodations. While it may lack the character of the Plaza Hotel downtown, it is a good alternative for the budget-minded traveler. Premises were clean, staff was hospitable. All told, a great value.

In deciding to stop in Las Vegas on or way to Sante Fe, made it as far as LV on the way before it got dark. This Comfort Inn was a welcomed surprise.

We found the Rooms spacious, clean, with extra amenities we did not expect (like a small fridge, desk, table chairs, etc).
Hotel room offered a more peaceful stay than other hotels along our trip.
We did not use the pool, hot tub, or exercise room during our brief stay, but the hotel obviously had much to offer.
Breakfast also afforded waffles in addition to the normal continental breakfast fare.

Would rate this Comfort near the top of Hotels we stayed in on our Trip.
Highly Recommended.

Steve - Minn.
