Breakfast is good here. A nice, quaint local eatery. Good green chile'. I'll come here again when in the area.

Had good breakfast experiences here over the years - off & on since 1997. Breakfast specials are good value for money, and include juice. Plentiful portions for sure. Our waitress was great.

We were overnight at a nearby state park. Read about this restaurant being here since 1949. Menu had a variety of options. Was shocked that a place with a saloon connected to it that sodas were in the can and not fountain. Not sure why. Maybe it's because with quite a few tables with people there was only one waitress & she didn't need to worry about refilling drinks. The beans and rice were quite good. Not dried out at all & good flavor. My enchiladas were alright. When we were ready to leave & pay our bill, we had to wait for the waitress to come to cash register as stated she was the only one there. They could use some more help as she was doing her best to take care of many.

This is a spot for the locals who know good food. The atmosphere here is vintage 1950s but this place has been here since I believe 1949. The service was good if a bit slow. We were here for lunch and the place was pretty crowded to be fair. Prices are very good, the pace is clean, and the quality of the food was very good.

We had a BLT and taco plate. We would recommend either and we will stop here again.

Been in the same location since 1949, we were there on Mother's day, a Sunday evening. The main dining room was closed but the grill dining area was doing a good business. The service was fast and friendly. The food was reasonably priced and was served hot. I had the Mexican combination plate #1 with a cheese enchilada, tamale, taco, rice, rancho beans and garnish. The red chili sauce had just enough spice. And the beans had melted cheese. Most of the other customers appeared to be locals (knew and talked to each other and the servers). Our server checked on us throughout the meal, brought more coffee and napkins. The food portions were generous.
