“Decent Italian, A Good Family Restaurant”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

This local tradition is trying to get better. The restaurant's location, across from the New Mexico State University campus, is central and easily accessible. This is not blow-your-socks-off food, but it's easily palatable. A good family experience.

“Hot Spot”
Reviewed June 1, 2013 via mobile

I love their rolls! Make sure you get the Alfredo sauce for the rolls for dipping! Pizzas are really good. They aren't those thin pizzas. They have the thick crust. Ravioli is delicious as well. I would recommend everything on the menu!

“Flavorful Italian Selections & Great Service”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

Stopped for dinner while stopping for the night in Las Cruces .... A friendly upbeat greeting by Yedi, immediate seating, menus provided and our drink order taken is how we started. My wife and I both ordered the Venice dish; a sampling of Spaghetti, Chicken Alfredo and Green Chile Lasagna. I had the green chile sausage soup, while my wife had the salad.
Our drinks were delivered as well as a basket of some of the best bread we ever had .... the bread is fantastic !
The salad was excellent .... great seasoning and fantastic house dressing - it did not have a vinegar bite and was not too oily. The soup was excellent too, with just a touch of green chile to spice it up.
The Venice combination was very good ... the spaghetti sauce did have a touch of sweet as others have mentioned in their reviews. The Chicken Alfredo was tender and flavorful .... and the green chile lasagna an excellent combination of flavors.
Great service, plentiful, flavorful dinners reasonably priced in an interesting atmosphere ( the walls are huge murals, Italian music playing at a reasonable level, though it was funny to hear 'It's Now or Never' in Italian instead of by Elvis ). Oh.... the photos of the interior are not what it looks like on May 6th.

“Food Good, Atmosphere OK”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

We arrived in Los Cruces hungry and tired and drove by Lorenzo's. Parking lot seemed full and that is generally a good indication of a nice place to eat. We were not disappointed. The interior was sort of loud both in acoustics and in decor, but the good food made up for it. Service was fine too, attentive but not bothersome. Try the raveoli sampler dish. A treat of 3 different types of raveoli, nice sized serving for a good price.
