front desk is hopeless, useless, and rude where is the previous young lady that knew the answers and was very helpful and had great customer service....Sarah!.... get her back managers she was much more organized and presentable. seriously your hotel could use a good staff member.
Sorry your experience with our new front desk staff was not good. Since the new front desk clerk has not worked in the hospitality industry and it is their first time. They will go through an extensive and regular training course to improve service and guest related issues. Sorry Sarah could no longer be with us. She was a good employee and had extensive training. Sarah had decided to leave to continue her college education. Thank you for taking your time to write this review. It will help us to improve our guest relation services. Next time you are in Hobbs, your experience will be better.
I travel frequently, and I can honestly say that this is one of the WORST hotels I have ever stayed at. On my way to Carlsbad Caverns, I decided to stay a few miles away in Hobbs--what a mistake! Upon entering the room, the smell of mold hit me right away! The bedspreads were old and nasty... Those got thrown onto the floor immediately. Every picture frame in the room was crooked, including the mirror over the sink which appeared as if it was going to fall off any second. The hand towels near the sink were FULL OF HAIR (gross!!), and appeared to be stained brown from filth. The soap holder in the shower still contained the remnants of probably the last 5 people that stayed in the room--seriously, there was about half an inch of old soap in the dish. The sheets on both beds were stained as well. Shame on you managers for not providing your guests with a comfortable place to rest!!
The room was simply so disgusting that it was unbearable... I got out of there as soon as I could. Its simply ridiculous to be charging $100+ for this absolutely horrible room. If you are traveling through Hobbs, save yourself the headache and discomfort and pay the extra $$'s to stay somewhere else. You will thank me.
On daily basis the rooms are checked. The room the guest stayed in has no signs of mildew or smell since this room gets rented often. And after each guests checks out, each room is checked thoroughly for any room maintenances and issues. Any issues found are taken care of right away. For the minor issues I do apologize. If the guest came by the front office with these issues, I would be glad to help the guest with their concerns. Even give the guest another room without any issues.
The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The room had a microwave, fridge, iand ironing board, big TV. The room didnt have the remote which I informed the front desk who wasnt concerned. The breakfast was continental.
The hotel was just down the street from my daily work (travel for my job) so very convenient. Tho only complaint was some other guests were hanging outside drinking after work and leaving cans all over.
