This hidden gem is an excellent getaway. Lovely portal outside the 2 rooms overlooks the organic garden and a spectacular view of the mountains. This place is run by the owners, who are caring and friendly. The house is straw bale that they built themselves over a few years, and it's very interesting to hear about the construction.
Hot tub on premises (we didn't use) and hiking and much scenery in the area. Breakfast was a full offering including fritata, homemade baked goods, yogurt, fruit, coffee and more.
Extremely quiet and very nice rooms with shared bath. Would definitely stay here again.
One note: the town of Glenwood has very spotty food service in the evening, and there may be no restaurants open. Check ahead of time and bring your own food for dinner if you arrive early. Refrigerator, microwave, dishes etc. available for your use. We brought sandwiches and salad.More
