The room looked newly redecorated. Everything was fresh and clean with lots of good lighting (if you've stayed in a hotel with just a few CFL lamps, you know refreshing this is!). A fridge and microwave are provided. The working/desk area was super, but the wireless speed was s-l-o-w. Good location, just off I-40 but near the train tracks. It seems like every five minutes a long train ran past. One minor point - the light switch for the bathroom was outside the room. We don't see that very often in our travels. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: If possible, get a room far from the train tracks.

I stayed here for several nights when working in the area 2/2012. Rooms are clean but small. They had refrigerators, clean bathrooms and a small desk. I was happy with the service but I didn't like being in a motel where the doors open to the street. As a single woman coming in late at night, I didn't like that lack of security. Of note - the advertised rate on the sign out front was cheaper than the rate I got when I booked online.

Ok, it is an older hotel, the staff is nice, the rooms are basically clean and the price is right. The last time I was there there were transients begging in the rear lot but they got ran off post haste.
Gallup either has VERY expensive or cheap and a lot of the cheap ones frankly suck. I have stayed here a few times and found it totally acceptable.

Room Tip: Do not park in the rear lot, the inner court rooms are nicer than the outer rooms, but I like the ou...

This place is a complete fake. When we call they said they have rooms available and when they found out that we are gonna be using a coupon given to us from the NM travel center all of a sudden rooms are not available. Stay away.

Arrived mid week and Motel was busy. Front desk was understaffed, but clerk was helpful. Room was small and clean, with the exception of the dirty/stained upholstered chairs at the small table in the room. (This "dirty/stained upholstered chair" situation seems to exist in the majority of motels. I don't know what travelers are doing to these chairs or why the motels don't correct this because it certainly detracts from the experience). Also, trains were heard twice during the night.
