I just pulled off the highway and checked into this hotel. I was pleasantly greeted by a nice young woman who was friendly and professional. The room was clean and well appointed. There was some slight noise from the highway but it did not bother my sleep. I would definitely stay her again.

Room Tip: I think any room would be good.

Traveling across country, Connecticut to Los Angeles with two small dogs we have usually had good experiences but, none as nice as La Quinta in Gallup. We had a very nice room on the first floor with other dogs and families in near by rooms. Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The hotel staff were just great, very helpful and supportive. But most of all they went out their way to be really pet friendly with the dedicated pet walk area. Oh what a difference it makes to have a enclosed clean area for pets to use. With clean up bags provided, it made the traveling experience all the better. Thanks La Quinta and the Gallup staff for your efforts.

After staying in some not so nice places as we've traveled across country, what a relief to finally stay in nice, new, pet-friendly accommodations! Convenient access to I-40, great enclosed pet area, comfortable room, restaurant next door. Wasn't expecting much in Gallup, New Mexico, but was pleasantly surprised. Great place to stay.

Very clean hotel, even the stairwells, and friendly, nice staff. When I first made the reservation the person at the hotel was very helpful. Good bed, nice size room, steam and spa as well. Breakfast better than some with fresh bananas. From our experience, this was a great experience.

Room Tip: The location is on the east side of town and a short ride from the main old downtown area.

This was a little bit out of the way, but a great clean hotel. A good breakfast the breakfast room was a little small for the amount of guests staying. Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi and steam room. Great views of the mountains from our windows. No close place to eat without going in the car. So we went to the local supermarket which had a good selection of salads and meats to have a picnic in the room, as there is a fridge and microwave in every room. A good stretch of the Route 66 to drive along, also the El Ranch hotel is up the road. This hotel is close to the I40.
Excellent hotel, very clean could not fault it.

Room Tip: A first floor room would provide you with some great scenery
