Traveling from Williams, AZ., we arrived in Farmington around 9pm on a Monday night, not thinking we'd have a problem finding a room for the night, even with our dogs. A stop at Comfort Inn and Travelodge revealed they were both sold out, and 10 calls later it was starting to look a little dire.
From the moment the front desk agent picked up the phone at Rodeway, I was charmed. She enthusiastically informed me that not only did they accept pets, the rate also included a list of amenities which she quickly ran through. BF said she was equally nice in person when he went to check in, and while the particular block on which the motel is situated is shady (next to an adult video store), and the hallways smell of lingering cigarette smoke. Our non-smoking queen was more than adequate for a one-night stay.
Chipped paint, loud AC, muffins and dried cereal for breakfast are minor inconveniences compared to friendly service and a comfy place to stay!More
