“really nice!”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

We both loved this hotel.
Although we did not have time to use any of its amenities, and for breakfast we went to Denny's opposite in the street, we did really enjoy our room.
We had booked a slightly better room than the standard one: the one with the partial room divider.
Our room was very beautiful, large and comfortable. it just felt more fancy and pretty than the average American motel room. The king bed was big and we slept really well. The bathroom was very good as well. We had a nice sitting area with TV; great!
No single complaint about this hotel. The only aspect which is bit less convenient that, in contrast to what is often the case in many american motels, you can't park in front of your room.
Would recommend when staying in Farmington, where the choise of motel chains is really big.

Room Tip: We had a bigger room, with partial room divider. Very large room!

We stay at this Comfort Inn twice a year. The staff is friendly, helpful, and polite. Their rooms are clean and safe. There's a free full continental breakfast prepared by friendly staff who will help any way they can. Beds are do-able. Value for rooms are fair and less than most others in town. It is a quite part of town. There's a Safeway and Walmart close by if you need them. Since we stay for a few nights, we love the larger suites. They have our reservation forever.

Room Tip: We like rooms on the front of hotel, the 2nd floor and near #212 or lower. They seem quieter.

I was a GM for a Comfort Inn in AZ, so I have knowledge regarding the Choice properties. We had a king bed that was so worn out it was terrible to sleep on. Front desk staff was plesant. GM was not friendly at all, he wouldn't even say hello. Bad customer service!!

Room Tip: Do not stay on the first floor near the front desk and housekeeping room, lots of noise. Bed not goo...

My wife and I stayed in room 222 in April of 2013.

The room is a double queen which was fairly large; we were able to put our luggage out of the way and move freely around the room. The bed was mostly comfortable (semi-firm mattress), but it felt like there was a sag which gave me the feeling of gravity pulling me towards the center... The pillows were not feather pillows (fine with me) and yet they were very comfortable.

There is a refrigerator in the room (larger dorm style) which was pleasantly quiet and functioned well. There is a microwave right on top of it too.

The TV was a flat panel of good proportion with a decent selection of channels available.

The wireless internet was easy to connect to and had a strong signal (4/5 bars). The speed was very satisfactory as well. There is also a hard-wire internet connection in the room. The computer desk is small but functional.

NOTE: The window could be opened from in the room; our window was not locked properly, which would be a concern if we were on the first floor...so if you are on the first floor, make sure your window is locked!!

Our room was facing the main road, which was O.K. because the traffic died off substantially once the sun went down. The sun rise was not directly into our window at this time of year either, which is nice. The odd number rooms might be better all around for avoiding traffic noise and sun streaming into the room.

The rooms 220, 218, and 219 are all right next to the stair well which is the only way up to the second floor; no elevator.

NOTE: Some of the hallway doors were not fitted properly and so you can easily see into the room from the hallway!!! I think it was 218 that had that problem...there was a gap of about 1/8" or a little more!! I was surprised by this, I must say.

The shower was a good size and was very clean. There was an O.K. amount of shelving in the shower for personal items. The sink is also located in with the shower and toilette.

The buffet was most excellent; we didn't have to prepare anything for my wife (gluten allergy). Both of the mornings we were there, there were four hot items, 2 of which were eggs (prepared differently both days) and a sausage in patty form. YUM! They had three types of cereals: Frosted Flakes, Cheerios, and Rasin Bran. Yogurts were available, along with bananas, apples and oranges (tangerines mixed in too). They had OJ and AJ along with various coffees and tea.

There is hot water available in the kitchen for whenever you want it; there is also a water boiler in the room, we didn't use it because it was just quicker to get the hot water from the kitchen. The nice lady that prepared all of the food in the morning was happy to help us when we asked for a banana because they were out.

The staff was courteous and professional as well.

Oh, yeah, there were cookies available in the lobby every evening too...yeah, I indulged!! :)

I would recommend this place to anyone. I gave this 4 out of 5 because of the oddities that I found, like the doors not fitting in their doorjamb properly.

This is a clean, affordable choice in Farmington. Nothing fancy. Breakfast is usual Comfort Inn fare but they do offer real plates and glasses. Internet is a little slow. Front desk is friendly. We have stayed here a few times.

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms at the end of the halls by the stairwells, very noisy.

There are a lot of choices when enttering Farmington and I usually don't stay at Comfort Inns but after this stay, I'll be reevaluating my choices. Easily accessible, clean, super friendly and helpful staff, great room - featuring lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a bathroom night lite. A quiet location with plenty of restaurant choices within 2 miles. The Inn had one of the best in-house breakfasts I've even seen, even fresh scrambled eggs and home made iar meal. Everything here suggests one step-up from the usual hotels. Ceramic coffee cups and silver wear for their free breakfast, a nite lite in the bathroom, etc... And all at similar price range as La Quinta or Days Inn. An excellent choice.

Stayed here for 2 nights while attending a recreational thing in Farmington. Motel was excellent. Comfortable beds, clean sheets, clean room, clean bathroom- no bedbugs! Didn't turn the TV, so can't say anything about that. Breakfast was very good with fruit, yogurt, cereal, sausage, biscuits, waffles, gravy, aaaannnnnnddddd..... the eggs were real (we watched the cook crack 'em). My single, sole complaint is that the Internet was painfully slow when we could get on it. Location is great with several excellent restaurants nearby. Park w/ playground and access to river-walk right across the street.

I would definitely stay here again and will in July.
