“Dirty, Ants, and Terrible Bed”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

I Do Not Recommend staying here. We stayed in the Cottage, and we cut our stay short because we just could not stand to stay another night. The kitchen plates, utensils, and cookware were not clean. We had to wash just about everything we needed to use. The working space in the kitchen is much too small to actually cook a meal. The bed was absolutely the worst. It sagged in the middle and was very uncomfortable. However, the main reason we left early was due to an ant infestation. The main bathroom had hundreds of ants. We spoke with the innkeeper about the ants and the bed, but nothing was done. We also did not care for the breakfast, really not good. I regret staying here, and will never return.

We happened on the Casa Blanca Inn on the recommendation of a friend while on a road trip, and we were definitely pleased with the advice. We spent a very restful evening and regretted that our schedule didn't allow for more time to enjoy the inn itself. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed and furnished. Breakfast was delicious and filling and the staff was very accommodating. We left reluctantly the next morning, wishing we could stay a few days to simply relax and enjoy.

The staff is delightful and helpful. It was easy to make a reservation, easy to make accommodations for a late check in. We were two couples, so we thought the cottage made the most sense. It was fine, two bedrooms (linens were ok, not luxurious, bed was a bit lumpy) and two baths plus a comfy living room, but next time, we will consider one of the inn's rooms or suites. We didn't use the kitchen. We had a small problem with hot water in one bathroom, so we took showers in the other one. We did have some ants, odd since it was winter and we didn't have any food at all. Breakfast was delicious, made to order huevos rancheros plus fresh fruits, homemade bread and more. The inn itself is nicely appointed, and the gardens will be gorgeous in the spring and summer. Probably on the expensive side for Farmington, but better than most of the alternatives.

Room Tip: Recommend the two suites, Crownpoint or Chaco. Wish we had done that, they are simply beautiful.

Recently stayed at this B & B/Inn with my wife and 10 year old son. Room was nice size, reasonably priced, wonderfully appointed and staff was cheerful, accommodating and went out of their way to wait for us when we were arriving late. In addition, they took requests for our breakfast and it was plentiful, relaxed and delicious ! Cant think of a better place to stay in this area !!

Room Tip: Crownpoint Suite

The owners were phenomenal, very helpful, and willing to cater to any needs. The rooms were large, comfortable, and very clean! We really enjoyed our stay. Although Farmington is not my favorite place to be, I will always stay at Casa Blanca Inn when I return!

Located on a quiet residential street is a bed and breakfast that is excellent. After a long haul from Minnesota on a plane, and car, we arrived to sheer quiet and tranquility. I was looking for a place to rest and relax and my husband was there to fish the San Juan River. I chose the Crown Point Suite and was extremely happy with my choice. The court yard and fountain made a wonderful place to curl up and read. The room was large, but very cozy and inviting. The hot tub was great at the end of the day. The bed was comfortable and most importantly it was quiet. We ate out a couple nights and enjoyed the mini kitchen for heating up take out the third. Believe it or not...it even has a compact dishwasher! The staff was so helpful and the breakfasts were to die for. Linda, you are one wonderful chef, and we enjoyed every morsel! We will be back!

Room Tip: I don't think there is a bad choice.

We stayed here for 3 nights. I had booked us into the Courtyard Suite which was lovely but we were upgraded to a much larger room with a beautiful jetted tub and separate shower.
The rooms all have a coffeepot, grinder, and fresh beans in the fridge, as well as assorted tea.
The next time we come to Farmington we will definitely stay here.
Linda is the perfect hostess and her breakfasts can't be beat. If you have any special requests be sure to let her know and she will try to accommodate you.
We had wonderful dinners at the 3 Rivers Brewery and very tasty sandwiches and soup at the "Deli Factory" on Broadway Ave. in Farmington. We highly recommend both of these places.

Room Tip: I'm pretty sure you can't choose a bad room, they're all lovely.
