We arrived in Farmington and as usual, headed to the visitor's centre for a town map. the two helpful assistants at the desk got chatting with us and suggested a look through the Museum, so we could stay inside a little longer to stay warmer. It was bitterly cold outside, we agreed. It has a permanent exhibit of the oil and gas industry mainly donated by a private owner and that had been well looked after. The Trading Post exhibit was a wonderful re-creation of the olden trading post. I found that the most interesting. The collection of Native American rugs was also very impressive. A good time was had there.
